About Palijn
So, who is Palijn ?
I am Thierry Michalowski, born on June 3rd, 1976, in France. I have lived in many places of France most of my life, and in Switzerland for the most recent years.
Currently living in the small city of Divonne-les-Bains, right about the nice country of Switzerland, where I had lived for roughly 6 years, and where I still enjoy working.
Originally a diplomed Engineer (MEng) from ESCPE Lyon, I enjoy manipulating bits of information, be it in a digital form as in my first Systems Engineer roles, or in a more human approach when I lend myself to managing processes, teams and projects, where my goal is to see my colleagues and my clients reach theirs, with the help of an information infrastructure I might take a little pride into.
My wife Anne is everything to me , she's been supporting me for 15 years, and I do appreciate this has not always been that easy!
Zephyr, Pleiade, Paline, Iskra, Neve, the 5 lovely cats who allow me to share their appartment, and Amtaro, the dream dog, complete a family I am proud of supporting everyday.
There is an artist hidden inside, albeit not obvious to everyone! I used to play the violin and appreciate all kinds of music.
I will certainly start sailing again some day, and spend a lot of my time on the sea. The feeling of sailing is beyond words, and sharing a little bit of my knowledge to teach a little bit of this art to others, makes a day easily.
